Perry told The Telegraph that representatives from Augusta National Golf Club, the PGA of America, the R&A and the USGA will ultimately decide whether golfers competing in LIV golf events will earn world ranking points.

LIV Golf applied for OWGR certification in July. Players at LIV Golf failed to score points when entering tournaments on the new circuit in 2022, with many players plummeting in the world rankings.
Dustin Johnson, LIV Golf’s inaugural individual champion and team champion captain, was third in the world at the start of 2022, but has fallen to 44th. Bryson, the 2020 U.S. Open champion, saw his DeChambeau drop from 5th to his 88th in the same period.
