At least, that’s JT Poston’s approach to life around the green. The 29-year-old PGA Tour journeyman has earned a reputation for his effective as well as quirky putting style during his professional career.Despite strokes that often appear to be deliberately misaligned, Poston PGA Tou Top 50r Strokes Won (and up to 2nd Place): Put in each of the last 5 years.
So how does he do it?in this week’s episode golf sub parhe gave the answer.
“I don’t know if there are answers to things like why everyone wants their putting to be linear and perfect,” Poston told hosts Colt Nost and Drew Stoltz. And the method is that I am a feeling player in the golf swing as well and the way I play the game is very feeling based.

“The biggest thing about my putting is that I don’t want to be nervous,” Poston said. I’ve hit a lot of reps since I was a kid.I’ve never seen a putting green I didn’t like.I just got out there and putt for hours.It got to where I was comfortable. ”
There’s no substitute for practice, but his advice to anyone looking to see some improvement around the greens without the fairness of sweat that Poston committed to his craft is simple: focus freely. guess the
“I know where my putter is pointing is not where the ball starts, but I do know where the ball starts,” he said. “It’s just a matter of feel. It’s hard to teach. I’ve sat there trying to give advice, but my philosophy is, I get comfortable about it and I know where the ball is going to start.” I’m not trying to start it off with a perfect line, I’m not trying to set it up perfectly perfectly. We want to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
